Came here on a Friday night with no reservation and was able to snag a seat at the bar (though I recommend making a reservation as it can get packed). Assuming there's a lot of overflow from folks who tried to go to Tommy's down the street but had a long wait time. Service was friendly and prompt! We started off with margaritas which came in fun glasses and a solid bang for your buck. For apps we tried the chicken flautas and the guac (stick with regular, not worth the upcharge for truffle). I got two tacos- the cauliflower and the impossible meat and the portion size was massive! I could barely finish one. The cauliflower taco left a lot to be desired, but the impossible meat taco was suprisingly very flavorful. The chicken taco was the star of the show and I would likely get that when I go again. Fun atmosphere and decorations!

Stopped by Tio Taco on a weekday around 6:30 PM, and while parking was a bit of a struggle (lots of businesses sharing the lot), the experience inside made up for it! The place has a fun, vibrant vibe with cute decor that sets the mood. We ordered a pitcher of passionfruit margarita ($38), and let me tell you--it did not skimp on the tequila. Strong, refreshing, and plenty for 3-4 people. For food, I got the classic burrito bowl with chicken, and my friend went for the chicken quesadilla. Portions? Massive. Easily two meals in one. The food was delicious, so I can't wait to try other meals.

We had an amazing birthday dinner here. Geneva was our waitress. She was great. Very nice and helpful. We got chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, street corn and guacamole. Our dinners consisted of many different tacos, chicken fajitas rice and beans. And a birthday churros for dessert. The place was clean and not too loud.

Cozy place to hangout and have drinks with friends. Their margarita is good, chicken wing tastes awful, service is good, nice bar, alot of choices on thier menu (foods and drinks). Nothing really special though in this restaurant.

Nice bar, great bartender and good choices of food and drinks. Cool place to spend a night with friends

Always enjoy stopping in after the yearly fly fishing expo that takes place in Edison at the convention center. This has been our 3rd trip here. My wife and I were quickly seated at a nice table by the windows. We chose the queso fundito appetizer to start. It was pretty greasy even though we chose not to add the chorizo to it. We enjoyed some cocktails. We picked the coconut and Cadillac margaritas. Very good , they offer a very extensive tequila selection along with plenty of other options. For our meals my wife chose the carne asada bowl. Very tasty, big portion. I chose the mix and max tacos - chicken tinga , carne asada and the Al pastor. Very good! Very fresh ! We also tried the special dessert of the rum banana chimichangas ! A different twist on a classic Mexican dish. I recommend stopping here if you visit the area. Parking is tight , especially when it shares the same lot as another restaurant. See you again next year ! They also offer some merchandise for sale - t shirt and hoodies !

The plantains are SO good!!!!!!!!! I've never had them like this before! The service was great, our server Eric was a pleasure!!! The music in there is great and the vibe was nice! I'll be back for sure

Loved Tio!!! This was a half way meeting point to meet family before Christmas. I wish we had one near us!!! We loved it!!! The drinks were awesome! The food was awesome!! We started with the guacamole and chips. It was the best guacamole I have ever had!! I had the Blackened Shrimp Bowl. Seems simple but it was delicious!! I do not like cilantro so I substituted the cilantro crema for a different sauce. Service was good and it was pretty busy. It was a little loud for me but it was to be expected as they were busy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came on a Sunday evening for dessert and coffee. I love their rum banana chimichanga. So flipping good! Unfortunately my coffee was served room temperature at first. The manager was very attentive throughout the night and even gave us a small touch lamp for our table situated on the dark side of the room.
